We understand that you may have many questions about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and what the consequences are for you as an Airbnb host or traveler. As the situation evolves, this page is the best place to learn more about Airbnb's terms. We've also answered some frequently asked questions for Airbnb hosts.
More is becoming known every day, making this an unclear time to travel and rent. We are closely monitoring the situation and will share updates as soon as we have them. In the meantime, we're asking our community to consider hosts and guests who need to cancel.
What do these conditions entail?
Eligible reservations can be canceled at no cost, including: guests traveling to or from severely affected areas (see below for a list of affected areas covered by these conditions) hosts hosting in hard-hit areas or receiving guests from hard-hit areas (see below for a list of affected areas covered by these terms) anyone unable to complete their journey due to official travel restrictions, medical duties or disease control, flight or ground cancellation by the airline or carrier due to COVID-19, or suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19.
